Engraved dog tags

Engraved dog tags

Engraved dog tags are a fantastic way to display your dogs identity. We deep engrave our engraved dog tags to ensure that your contact details remain intact on your pet tag lasting many years.

A deep engraved pet id tag will give you peace of mind that you dog can be found and returned, much easier, should they become lost or stray. An engraved dog tag will ensure that your dog can be easily identified and meets the requirements under The Control of Dogs Order 1992.

Our engraved dog tags easily attach to your dogs collar, and unlike a microchip which has to be read by specialist equipment, your dogs details will be clearly visible.

We stock a wide range of engraved dog tag styles, available in many colours and shapes. And you can even add some bling to make your dog feel special with Diamante engraved dog tags.

Pet tag law

Pet Tags provide identification for dogs, which meets UK legislation requiring dogs, in a public area, to be easily identified. The Control of Dogs Order 1992 dictates that a dog's name and full address has to be inscribed on its collar in order that it can be returned to its owner or reported for unsociable behaviour of some kind. It is possible to have your pet microchipped for identification purposes, however this is not a replacement for a Pet Tags. Microchips have to be read by specialist equipment supplied by a vet, which could deter people from coming to the aid of a lost pet. Pet Tags are the perfect answer as they provide identification that is easy to find and easily read.
